Do you need data and phone service signal to use the app ?
Hi there, no you will need internet or cell connection to use the app.
If you work in high altitude areas you’ll struggle a lot w the app. I’ve had cases where I’ve connected and didn’t realize I had no service/connection where I was. Always keep an extra set anyway tho. Other than that they’re awesome

How do I add the new feature of outside ambient using a Joblink wireless psychrometer. I have tried several times and just cannot seem to get it right.

@@FieldpieceProducts the video you suggested was generic but did not answer the issue question. When I try to add a third psychrometer I select live but it keeps going back to manual.

It’d be better if you put the air probe kit in there with static probes
Here's to hoping @fieldpiece instruments checks the comments. This micron gauge (mg44) has a serious is with temperature written it comes to the micron level it displays. The issue with the temperature of the sensor is so bad that if you are pulling a vacuum outside and the sun is hitting the micron gauge your reading might be 1000 microns or more higher than the actual state of the system and that can be easily demonstrated by putting a sunshade in front of the gauge and stopping sunlight from directly hitting it. The big problem for someone in colder climates is that the gauge has high potential to report a much lower vacuum level than the system has actually achieved. Hopefully @fieldpiece instruments can address this with a version 2.0 or something like that.

Was going to get another Inficon recovery machine, but this changed my mind.
If my wireless clamps are connected to the sman. And I connect the sman to the app, will the probe info transfer also? I like to use my sman independent of the app alot, and don't like switching back and forth

Shouldnt the micron gauge be mounted at a higher elevation so you do get contaminants in the sensor?
Thank you for your question! If the micron gauge is properly isolated when recovering refrigerant or charging a system (we’re looking at you, VC2G valve core removal tool with dual ball valves), then there is a very low probability that the gauge sensor will be exposed to contaminants regardless of placement. If you can, best practice is to position the micron gauge parallel to or above the line set.
When will the dual valves be available? Anywhere I look online is sold out, and most of the distributors in my area of Phoenix has no idea you made these.

Just what the job called for. lol
So far I started with smans. Then today I bought the whole probe kit then I ordered these core tools. I got their meter , gas pressure meter , and the vacuum guage too. Love their stuff. I trust the sc440 meter with my life. I won't use another meter. Might upgrade to the sc480 just for joblink tho

Those are nice handrails on that rooftop access ladder. Not everyone is aware of that OSHA reg. It definitely makes it easier and safer to transition from roof to ladder.
